There are perfumes that whisper, and then there are perfumes that sing, fortunately NATURALES Ibiza is the latter. From the very first seconds, it offers a sun-drenched escape to the Mediterranean summer. And what makes it very special, is that it is composed 100% from the natural ingredients.
The perfumer of NATURALES Ibiza is Rasa Gundersen, who is based in Sweden and when she says her fragrances are all natural, she means it!
IBIZA opens with a radiant warm brightness of the fig. And that fig note is constructed from the natural isolates of vetiver, ylang-ylang and mint. I could sit and smell the opening for days on end, and would have never guessed there is mint in this composition. What I do get is a lot of luminous neroli and orange blossom topped up with soft milky note of ylang-ylang and stellar coconut shavings. The base notes have spiked my curiosity as there is one ingredient listed in the pyramid that I know nothing about. This being the Shiu extrait.
There’s a very unusual touch to this scent, it is very well refined fruity-woody bouquet that tingles my nose in the best way possible. There is very prominent ozonic freshness present here, light and airy, yet not fleeting, as it often happens to many natural scents. I think it’s green vanilla (zero sweetness kind one) that elegantly locks the composition in place on my warm skin. My overall verdict is that NATURALES Ibiza is well worth exploring, especially when ingredients matter to you. It’s a beautiful addition to my collection and will be getting proper wearing time this upcoming summer.
